Fevernova ball
In the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, Adidas
launched the Fevernova as the official ball for that championship. The
name of Fevernova comes from the word "fever", due to the fever
caused by the World Cup when it takes place. The second word is "nova".
A nova is a very bright star but only for a very short time.
Adidas revolutioned its designs because the typical triads
used in the last 24 years, were not printed for the new model, the Fevernova.
The Adidas design for this ball was a triangular-shaped turbines which
were rotating. It symbolizes the economic growth in Japan and South Korea.
The ball included a refined synthetic foam layer to give
the ball a superior performance characteristics. The three layer let it
to get a more accurate shot.
