Jabulani model
Adidas launched the Jabulani as the official match ball
for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The ball has 11 different colors
which means 11 players of a team, the 11 official languajes in South Africa,
the 11 communities of South Africa. The ball's design represents the stadium
where the final was played, the Soccer City Stadium.
The Jabulani consists of 8 3D-EVA panels and TPU panels
which are joined in order to get the ball the most spherical as possible.
On the final match, Adidas introduced the Jobulani, the
Jabulani's brother. It was so similar but the only difference was the
color. The Jobulani had the gold color around its surface. Please see
the picture above.
Here we can see Iniesta kicking the Jobulani to score
the only goal which became Spain on the new World Cup champion.
