Official match ball of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

Jabulani model

Adidas launched the Jabulani as the official match ball for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The ball has 11 different colors which means 11 players of a team, the 11 official languajes in South Africa, the 11 communities of South Africa. The ball's design represents the stadium where the final was played, the Soccer City Stadium.

The Jabulani consists of 8 3D-EVA panels and TPU panels which are joined in order to get the ball the most spherical as possible.

On the final match, Adidas introduced the Jobulani, the Jabulani's brother. It was so similar but the only difference was the color. The Jobulani had the gold color around its surface. Please see the picture above.

Here we can see Iniesta kicking the Jobulani to score the only goal which became Spain on the new World Cup champion.
